February Blog Hop - Back to.......
February is known as the month of love - Valentine's Day. In Australia it is also the month of "Back to School". With the beginning of school comes a new timetable of classes. I thought that a beautiful book with your school timetable would make a lovely start to the year. You could also use this idea for any weekly format and could be used in conjunction with your Yearly Planner. See my website if you are interested in any products that I use or even your own Yearly Planner.
If you have joined us from Alison's blog, scissorspaperheart, you are on the right path! As you wander through the blogs you will see some fantastic ideas. Hope they get you inspired.
To make the titles I used watercolour paper and using 3 of the watercolour paints created my own paper. Then cut into the size required to fit the book and using Black Memento Ink with the Frame work Alphabet Stamp set created a strong black title.
All the paper and embellishments came from the new Workshop My Way - Regatta Scrapbooking Kit. It is such a great kit to buy as not only do you receive enough paper and embellishments to make 3 double scrapbooking pages and 6 cards - but also matching paper and embellishments to create other wonderful projects.
Some of the embellishments do not come from the Kit. I have used the new "Share the Love" Operation Smile Stamp Set. This stamp set is only available in February and USD7.00 from every purchase will go to Operation Smile and the wonderful work they did with children with cleft pallets.
Below is a list of what I used...
Designer Creations Short Stack Album Z2028
Watercolour Paints Z3132
Watercolour Paper Z3146
Paintbrush Set Z3188
Workshop Your Way
Regatta Scrapbooking Kit G1105
Framework Alphabet Stamp E1027
Operation Smile Stamp
"Share the Love" CC1060
Thank you so much for visiting my blog and hope you are inspired.
