4 Drawer Easel Card

4 Drawer Easel Card

Today I am showing the steps to create these wonderful 4 Drawer Easel Cards.  The inspiration came from a class held by Maddy Dunster and the design on the front of this card came from a class held by Chris Lothian.  I have used "Close to My Heart" products for this project and will list them at the end.
You will need 3 pieces of cardstock, 12" x 12".  I have used desert sand coloured cardstock.
Cut x 1 - 6" x 12" and score at 3" and 6"
Cut x 2 - 6" x 6"
Cut x 4 - 31/2" x 8" score at 1" & 31/2" & 41/2" & 7"
Cut x 4 - 43/8 x 53/8 score at 1" on each side
Fold each piece where the score lines are.
To make the drawers:
1. Cut the tabs of each piece 43/8" x 53/8" and fold and stick using adhesive.
2. Join the ends of each piece 31/2" x 8" with adhesive.

Put all 4 drawers on one of the 6" x 6" pieces as shown making sure the joins are in the middle and the drawers open to the outside.
Attach the 6" x 12" piece to the top of the drawers making sure the fold looks like shown.
Embellish the other 6" x 6" piece as desired and use adhesive to secure the bottom of this piece to the card.
Complete card by putting paper on drawers and around card.  Do not forget to put a piece to prop up the embellished card. 3D tape is the best. Also put something on the drawers as handles.
